One of my favourite places to escape to in Kingston – the library.  I love this one because of the free wi-fi, without shelling out $5 for a coffee.  (Sorry Starbucks, I love you too, but you’re expensive and have no books.)

This shot was taken from the parkside, behind the library.

Or chicken coop, whichever you prefer.  I used to help collect eggs there from time to time a million years ago.  :)

Another autumn photo, before it’s all raked away.  Again, from the house where I grew up.  :)

No, it’s not just a random outhouse that I found quaint and photo-worthy.  It belonged to my grandparents, (they got indoor plumbing sometime in the 80s) and is still gets summer use.  (I still have nightmares about it…but it sure is cute from the outside, no?)

Driveway River

driveway_riverWhile not exactly a photo representing Kingston, it’s still something IN Kingston that calls back lots of memories for me…and perhaps anyone else who lived in the boonies and needed a sump pump in their basement?  Lots of rain over the weekend turned my childhood home’s driveway into a river once again.  (Just wait ’til spring!)
